We all scream for ice cream

May 16th, 2008 at 11:41 am

Well….This is an actual update! Although not really…since I’m being forced by Hikaru as penalty to manage this site for a bit. He’s making me write a journal post. Stupid lazy Hikaru.

In all honesty, there’s nothing new to report here. Things have been surprisingly quiet. So I figured I’d tell you about our fun little excursion with Haruhi into the world of the commoner.

Did you know that commoners will actually visit trucks parked along the street and buy ice cream? Yup, I know it’s hard for some of us with so much money to believe, but it’s true. Of course Haruhi wasn’t expecting us to follow him home, but what else is there to do on a hot afternoon? Besides, it was Mori-senpai’s birthday and we figured we’d treat our silent friend to a commoner delicacy.

Would you believe we all had strawberry? Not out of choice though. By the time we got there, that was the only flavour they had left.

On the first day of Christmas…

December 26th, 2007 at 1:09 pm

Twas the week before Christmas, when all through the club
Not a member was sitting, they all had to scrub

A party had been set for that commercialized day
In hopes this would augment what the customers would pay

Tono was nestled all snug in his head
While Haruhi looked like she’d rather be dead

Mori reached high and cleaned at the top
And Hunny and Usa, took turns with the mop

And Hikaru in his uniform and I in mine too
Were wracking our brains to think of something to do

“It is not healthy to be working so hard.”
“What are they thinking? We will surely be scarred!”

Then the twins got an idea! An awful idea!
The twins got a wonderful, awful idea!

“We know just what to do!” The twins secretly laughed.
And they grabbed some paper and made a quick draft.

“It needs to be bigger!” Hikaru requested.
“With bright flashing lights!” Kaoru suggested.

They set about their work with great vim and vigour
All the while keeping up their innocent demeanour

Thus the week passed without much event
Yet the twins never uttered one word of dissent

The hosts were costumed and the season was jolly
And there wasn’t a wall not covered in mistletoe or holly

Adorned in their dresses, the guests were arriving
But the shadow king’s cool was barely surviving

Amid the merriment and bountiful cheer
There was one important person who was simply not near

A boy with light hair and bright purple eyes
Whose adorations were that night’s super grand prize

Without their award they would be forced to invent
Something new to replace what had been the party’s main event

People were stressed, how would they pull it off?
When from behind a curtain there came a slight cough

The crowd turned as one with eyes that widened in shock
To behold the king as he faced the normally yellow flock

His ensemble was brown right down to his toes
And he was wearing a glowing red light on his nose

“A reindeer!” the two boys cried, their trick finally revealed
Then they burst out laughing, their mask fully peeled

Tono looked so silly and completely bizarre
That the group stood a moment, viewing him from afar

Then a high-pitched squeal rose up from the drove
Then another, and another, and towards him they all dove

Each blonde and brunette were immediately smitten
By his adorable looks and they called him ‘kitten’

The night continued on without much ado
And the twins had another fabulous costume debut

The moral of this tale is a familiar write
“Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good-night.”
