You Can Say I Was ‘Pro-active’
August 3rd, 2008 at 10:12 am
One of the gifts I got for my birthday was a digital camera (take a wild guess who gave that gadget to me). It was one of the latest models, too. With my father’s gentle prodding, I found myself going around the park, taking random shots of anything and of anyone that passed my way. I guess I had been taking shots for 2 hours because I was so tired by the time I reached one of the surrounding park benches.
After buying a snack, I sat down and took a gander at the pictures I took. I’m telling you now that I probably won’t have a future in Photography. Most of the shots turned out blurry, too dark, or too bright. Knowing my father won’t let me inside of the apartment if I came back with these, I spent two more hours taking pictures.
Good thing I was half-way done with studying before he barged in, shoved the camera in my hands, and pushed me out of the door earlier…
My latest effort was better than the first. And I must admit, taking pictures can be relaxing. I hope my dad will stop bothering me now that I “broke in” my camera. Although, I think he wants me to take the camera to school on Monday.
… Yare, yare.

There Will Be Slime

This entry is quite late. Sorry about that. I will explain here why I commented on Kaoru’s journal that “dry cleaning isn’t cheap”…
April Fool’s day was like a godsend holiday for the Hitachiin twins. Here, they really play their prankster roles to the fullest and every one — and I do mean every one — is a target for them.
It was a bit odd at first that they didn’t go after Tamaki-senpai (afterall, he is Hikaru and Kaoru’s “favorite”). This made senpai a wee bit paranoid for the rest of the day. It seemed like the more Tamaki-senpai tried to protect himself from getting pranked, the more bizarre the situations he got himself in to. The twins didn’t have to lift a finger, and the Host Club King was still a victim of their pranks.
Oh. Hold on a minute… did I say every one was a target? If I remember correctly, the only one safe from these shenanigans was Kyouya-senpai… that says a lot.
While Mori-senpai responded in his usual taciturn way (Honey-senpai reacted for the both of them, I believe), I, on the other hand felt like I went through hell twice. Being in the Hitachiins’ company made me some sort of “moving target” if you will. Everywhere I go, some projectile comes flinging to my person; making my uniform dirty by the end of the day.
Thank God this day only comes once a year!

Oy Vey

I realized something. Combing through my archives, I did not post what I happened on my birthday last year.
Although… would all of you find that interesting to read about? I mean, I somehow managed to convince my father and the Host Club that a simple celebration would suffice. The gifts were very extravagant though if I remembered correctly.
I’m not sure if I’ll be able to convince them that a party won’t be necessary this year too. I guess I’ll have to brace myself then.
Oh wonderful. And then there’s Valentine’s day…
